Day 4: World Coloring-in DayToday, work out your globetrotting plans for the rest of your time on earth, and get on the phone to an accredited travel agent. NB: the state Dept. currently discourages travel to the following countries: Afganistan, Iraq, North Korea, Turkmenistan, Zimbabwe, North Yemen. Fill in the country: GREEN - Been there done that BLUE - Intend to go there this year YELLOW Intend to go there some time before I die RED - Happy never to set foot there in my whole life.
—————————————————————————-
No offense if you live in a country colored red. But you can kinda see where I would like to go… pretty much just parts of europe and asia… But at the very least I would like to go to Japan. So hopefully that’ll happen soon.

TBWCYL Day 3

Day 3: Today throw away something you like.

No description with todays mission… so i went on search of something that I liked. Problem was that when I moved to Denton I only brought so many things… all were things that I felt I needed in some way or another. So I went to the trunk of my car where I struggled away with my materialism for about 20-30 minutes. Going through boxes, bags, trying to find what I could part with.

I eventually found the game of LIFE at the very back and bottom of my trunk. And after thinking about it for awhile, I decided it was time. I like LIFE, there are memories attached to it… but one of the reasons i decided to throw it away was because NO ONE has wanted to play it when i suggested it in the past.

That and if anyone asked me what I did today, I wanted to be able to tell them I threw away my LIFE™.

This is LIFE™ this is LIFE™ in the trash

TBWCYL: Day 1 and 2

So I picked up this book from Half.com it’s called, “This Book will Change Your Life” As it says on the cover it’s “365 daily instructions for hysterical living”. Basically, it gives you something to do every day for a year. Andrew has said he’ll do the book with me and we’ll write in our blogs what happened that day.

Day 1: Warm Up

Day 1 gave me a list of things to do and to just pick 1 to warm up for the rest of the book. So I chose to jay walk in a pedestrian zone.

Nothing to write home about.

Day 2: The Love of Your Life
Today, gaze at everyone wondering whether they might be the one true love of your life, the one destined for you and you alone, and whether you might be passing them by forever… Act in consequence.

I didn’t get to see a lot of people today, but I ran through my mind people who i’ve met here recently in Denton. You know, there were a few that I stopped to relly consider… but I asked myself if I’m really in the situation to get myself into a relationship. Let’s see, I’m officially unemployed (unofficially…?) I don’t even have my own place… I’m lucky to have a friend who’ll let me stay at his apartment for now, my bank account’s depleting…

So I don’t think I’m really in any position to get involved in anything serious that requires me to pay for anything. Ha!
